“A Blank Computer Screen Makes Me Want To Throw Up”

That line made me laugh out loud. It’s in this article by Lee Rourke at The Guardian about writing longhand. My process is the same as his. All first drafts are written in notebooks, then typed up and revised during that typing. I had a discussion about this, myself, with a friend, and he told me there had been studies done that revealed more brain activity when a person connected pen to paper as opposed to typing. I like Rourke’s point that with pen and paper, you can do it anywhere, and do it discreetly (personally).
